I reached my first million in my early 20s
There were so many lessons I had to learn a long the way. You have to understand, I gew up really poor so all of this was new to me.
I’m one of seven kids, raised by a single parent after my family came to America as refugees. We grew up with very little, and every day was about making ends meet.
Not knowing if there’d be food on the table tonight was survival mode—nothing else compared. When I finally got to think about starting a business, it felt like a luxury, because for so long, my only focus was making it through to tomorrow.
But both taught me invaluable lessons in urgency, resourcefulness, and what it really takes to transform your life.
Hitting my first million in my early twenties wasn’t just about the money—it was about learning, failing, and getting up again. I’ve made mistakes, faced doubts, and had to teach myself lessons the hard way.
